Ausette Anderies as Kaija (Movement)
Ausette Anderies is currently studying theatre and political science at Arizona State University. Her experience in movement work started with ballet training through the Royal Academy of Dance. She studied in their program for ten years, and she is excited to be able to use this training in an acting related context. Using creative movement in theatre and film is something she wants to pursue. She will be appearing in the premiere of Trade, Trade, Love in the fall at ASU, which will be exploring in depth the movement practices that can be used in theatre and film. Most of her work is in live theatre, with a focus on Shakespeare.
She just returned from studying and working with the Prague Shakespeare Company in the Czech Republic, where she performed as Margaret in Much Ado About Nothing at the Estates Theatre. Some of her other stage credits include Desdemona in Othello and Irina in Three Sisters. With all of these different platforms, movement work is particularly important to her, so she is excited to be involved in the movement work for The Author's Daughter.
